A famous reality TV personality is recovering after a major jaw surgery, with graphic photos of the aftermath spreading all over social media.

Farrah Abraham, who first rose to fame on MTV's reality TV show Teen Mom, recently underwent double disc jaw surgery, with TMZ publishing a series of harrowing snapshots of the 35-year-old recovering in the hospital. Of course, the graphic shots, which show Abraham's seemingly unable to smile or make any facial expressions, soon spread across social media.
The reality TV personality's jaw was reportedly wired shut following the surgery. TMZ reports that the procedure involved implanting "custom jaws" created specifically for her face.
She told the outlet (presumably through text) that she underwent the surgery following injuries she allegedly sustained at the hands of former Windsor, California, Mayor Dominic Foppoli. She is also suing him for allegedly sexually assaulting her.
While Abraham didn't offer details about the alleged assault, TMZ points out that Foppoli denied the allegations. He also isn't facing criminal charges.
"Mr. Foppoli denies wrongdoing and indicates the encounter with Farrah was consensual," Foppoli's lawyer told TMZ. "It is more likely that Farrah is taking the opportunity to have elective surgery and is blaming it on my client in order to make him pay for it."

Meanwhile, Abraham did dish a bit more about her jaw surgery. The mom of one told TMZ she had screws in her gums. She also mentioned she hoped to recover hearing in her right ear.
Abraham's manager, Chrissy Johnston, told the Daily Mail that she won't be able to speak for two months.
"Farrah cannot speak because her jaw is wired shut, and her face is extremely swollen. She is in a severe amount of pain and is really struggling, both physically and mentally," Johnston told the outlet. "To make matters worse, she has also lost hearing in her right ear. I hope and pray that her pain eases soon and that her hearing returns to normal over time."
"After everything she has already endured, to now be left in excruciating pain, unable to speak or open her mouth to eat normally for months, is an enormous amount for anyone to endure. She is going through an incredibly difficult time right now," Johnston added.
The OnlyFans model took to her daughter Sophia's TikTok livestream following the procedure. She reportedly held up a sign that read: "I had surgery + can't talk. Thanks for all the gifts."
