Brandi Glanville has opened up about a pretty terrifying health experience. A normal trip to the doctors could reveal you have an underlying health condition... but something literally lying under your skin? That's almost unheard of.
Well, not for this Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum. Per People, she revealed that she had "something alive" in her face during a stint of social media posts.
Her first post explained that she was under some pretty serious regimens to deal with a facial parasite.
She said that she is taking infusions pretty much all day every day. And they're having a bad effect on her - she said she's "so skinny right now" because the infusions make her struggle to eat.
"I feel like death, I look like death," she announced. She showed herself setting up an IV pump, saying that she "had to learn to do all these [IVs] with the nurse". She elaborated that she's being made to take Imipenem.
According to the Mayo Clinic, Imipenem is an antibiotic which is used to treat bacterial infections.
The reality star also said that her nurse also comes to her house to administer a different IV pump to her. All in all, she says, she's on IVs 18 hours a day.

She also explained that there was "something alive" in her face... and "it was moving". The presiding doctor "had never seen anything like it". She vowed that she wanted to "cut [her] face open and take [the facial parasite] out".
But, she wants to be reasonable - first waiting to see if she can find a radiologist to do it for her. However, if that doesn't work... You fill in the dots.
The reality star's social media posting tirade also showed an ultrasound of the parasite itself.
She said in the caption of the videos that she wanted to share the videos. "The treatments, the IVs, the exhaustion, the days nobody saw," she explained. "I haven't been ready to talk about all of it publicly, and there's still a lot I'm not ready to share yet. This is only one minute of a much bigger story."
