Brandi Glanville Says the Parasite Is Getting Bigger

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star talked about her health struggles on Instagram yesterday, Sep. 8. The 53-year-old said the parasite has now reached down her right arm.

"It used to only be here, but over the years, that not being diagnosed properly, it has spread," she said. "Now it goes down my right arm."

In other segments, the reality star used her tears to show a large growth in her face.

"It's hard as a rock, and it curves like this," she said as she touched it. "I'm so sick [of it] I just want to cut it out of my face."

Glanville also described what caused a rash on the right side of her face and how it developed.

"I'm finally ready to tell you what I've actually been fighting and to start sharing some of my worst moments leading up to finally getting diagnosed," she wrote in the caption. "I've been diagnosed with highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis and Mononucleosis."

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), ESBL Klebsiella is an antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Infections can occur in healthcare settings. Valley Fever is a lung infection caused by a fungus found in the soil in the Southwestern United States.

Demodex is a mite that lives in human hair follicles, typically on the face. It can cause an itchy condition called demodicosis in those who are immunocompromised, according to the Cleveland Clinic

The Star Has Been Diagnosed With Several Illnesses

In addition to getting the "fungal ball" removed from her face, Glanville said she will have the "metals from old dental work out of my mouth, my breast implants need to come out, and I'm looking at 4-6 months of daily IV treatment." After health insurance, she estimates the cost of these treatments will run between $3,300 and $6,000 a month.

"I'm not able to work right now other than my podcast, and I honestly don't know how I'm going to do this mentally or financially," she added. "I'm sharing some really bad moments, and I know I don't look good in these videos. Honestly, I don't care. I feel terrible, and this is what being sick looks like for me right now."

As PEOPLE reports, Glanville has been documenting her health journey since 2023. She first believed the symptoms began after something she ate while filming Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Then, earlier this year, she claimed that her disfigurement was caused by a parasite from her "ruptured" silicone breast implants, which caused her lymph nodes to be "clogged."
