Steve McBee Sr. is home from prison and spending time with his family. The reality TV star has spent the past few months in prison, meaning he'll be embracing the small details now that he's back home and with loved ones.

On Saturday, September 12, Steve shared his first social media post since returning home. The video, which showed his return to his family's farm in Missouri, saw the star express his happiness at being back with his family.
"A little more appreciation for the simple things in life," the caption reads. "....Thank you Lord for all the blessings in my life..."
Shortly after that video was posted, Steven shared a post from his son Cole, showing him holding his grandson.
"So blessed to have the family back together," the text on the story reads. "Dad and Tate have officially got to meet now."
Steve's release comes less than a year after he was sentenced to a two-year prison term. He previously pleaded guilty to a federal crop insurance fraud scheme. He began serving his time in December 2025.
"According to court records, Steve admitted to a scheme involving millions of dollars in crop insurance benefits," TMZ reports. "He was ultimately ordered to pay more than $4 million in restitution and forfeit more than $3 million to the government."
Steve McBee Will Likely Spend Several Months on House Arrest
According to TMZ, Steve's early release is due to his participation in a program that reduced the amount of time he'd spend behind bars. As part of that scheme, he is expected to spend the next few months under house arrest.
The impact of Steve's arrest has been well documented in the recent series of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys. In fact, his absence not only hurt his family but also their farming business. It's unclear if there will be any restrictions on Steve's ability to help out on the farm while he serves his home confinement.
Nevertheless, Steve will undoubtedly be happy to be back with family and in familiar surroundings. After all, being back home has to be significantly better than spending any additional time in prison.
