Amber Eggers, who was known for her appearance in WEtv's Love After Lockup, has tragically passed away. As reported by Deadline, she was 41 years old.
Her mother, Monica Eggers, as well as her friends, confirmed her tragic passing. They explained that she had passed away of acute liver failure in a hospital in Georgia. A post on social media announced her tragic passing.
"Amber Eggers has lost her fight today and passed away," the post read. "Amber was admitted to hospital on Tuesday Sept 1st... The doctors did everything they could, but in the end, her body just couldn't keep fighting," the post continued.
"She will be missed more than we can probably put into words. Love After Lockup viewers and cast alike love Amber very much. We laughed with her, worried about her, and cheered her on through everything she faced."
The post concluded, "Thank you for being you, Amber. You are going to be missed."

The Reality Star Had Been Facing Health Woes
Eggers had also been suffering with serious health issues for over a year. She was previously hospitalized in 2025, where she was diagnosed with severe pneumonia and sepsis. Her sister Erin explained in a fundraiser that the reality star needed physical therapy just "to be able to walk again".
The post announcing her tragic passing also explained that she had recently "suffered a mini-stroke", and was "home recovering" when she had to be re-admitted into hospital.
Her appearance on the WEtv reality show showed her relationship chronicles as it progressed behind bars. Whilst she was in prison for drug trafficking, she had become engaged to a man. However, following her release from prison, they broke off their relationship.
Fans Mourned Eggers' Passing
Fans were quick to send their condolences: one wrote, "One of the few people on Love After Lockup I liked, she seemed so genuine smh rip Amber," with another writing, "This makes me sad, I felt (through watching) that she was a kind and genuine soul. May she rest in peace."
