Blake Shelton fans will soon be able to see the country star try his hand at professional acting for the first time.
According to NashvilleGab, Shelton will make his acting debut alongside Adam Sandler in The Ridiculous Six, which will be available to stream on Netflix starting Dec. 11. The film will be a parody of the classic western The Magnificent Seven, with Shelton playing the role of lawmaker Wyatt Earp. He'll star in the comedy alongside actors Terry Crews, Jorge Garcia, Taylor Lautner, Rob Schneider, Luke Wilson and Nick Nolte.
Shelton has been busy juggling many hats this year. When he's not filming episodes of The Voice in California, he's out on the road touring in support of his latest album, Bringing Back the Sunshine. All of his hard work and experimentation with many facets of the music and entertainment industry helped him land at number 95, tied with his wife Miranda Lambert, on Forbes' 2015 list of top earning celebrities.
Until Shelton heads back to Hollywood to film a new season of The Voice, he'll be out on the road playing various music festivals across the country through the end of August. For a full list of upcoming dates, visit his official website.
