Reacher star Alan Ritchson has opened up about his experience with Hollywood studios. More specifically, per the New York Post, how his quite vocal political opinions had been negatively received.
He was talking to fans at a Fan Expo Canada panel earlier this month when he made the joking remarks. "You know how many phone calls I get from studios like, 'Would you shut the f*** up, please? Stop talking in public!'"
However, he was quick to note that "I mean, but it's not chaos I'm after. It's actually the opposite of chaos. I'd like a little - I'm not going to get into it. You don't want to see my rants starring these g****** f****** politicians everywhere."
"I'm not going to do it, Sony told me not to. And I'm not going to say anything. Not today... not today, Epstein." These comments were met by cheers from the audience.
The Reacher star went on to fist bump the moderators, joking, "Pedos win".

The 'Reacher' Star Likes Getting Political
Of course, this is the first in a pretty long line of political stints from the Reacher star.
He has previously spoken out against Christians who support Trump and Republicans. About his faith, per The List, he explained in 2024, "I'm a Christian quite simply because of what Jesus calls us to do. Love other people until death. It doesn't mean we're all to be hung on a cross, but how can I suffer for you? That is a beautiful thing."
But he says that Trump does not represent this. "Trump is a r***** and a con man, and yet the entire Christian church seems to be treat him like he's their poster child and it's unreal. I don't understand it," he explained. He added, "Christians today have become the most vitriolic tribe. It is so antithetical to what Jesus was calling us to be and to do."
Whether you agree with his comments and beliefs or not, one thing remains true. He is confident in what he thinks, and whether the studios agree or not is at the back of his mind.
