Ray Benson and Jack Ingram Headline Texas Flood Relief Concert

Local musicians are teaming up with community organizations to help raise money for those affected by the devastating Memorial Day floods.

Flood Aid TX will be a day-long concert event raising money for the United Way of Hays County Flood Relief Fund and the Austin Disaster Relief Network. The concert, which will be held June 28 at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas, is the result of a partnership between The City of Austin, Travis County and the Lower Colorado River Authority.

The event will feature four stages of performers including headliners Ray Benson and Jack Ingram, along with over 20 local acts. The benefit was created in hopes of raising money to help with continued recovery efforts after devastating floods hit the area late May.

"100 percent of any donations made to the United Way of Hays County for flood relief will go back into the community," said Michelle Harper, CEO of the organization, according to KXAN.
