These days, Stella Lefty needs all the support she can get. After all, she's become the internet's favorite singer to dunk on following fans' claims of plagiarism. However, Lefty also has some loyal fans, and on Tuesday, Sept. 22, she found out that the legendary Randy Travis is among them.

Travis, 67, left a comment on a video Lefty had posted to TikTok. The clip, which showed Lefty singing an unreleased track titled "Raised By The Radio," has a moment where she lists multiple country stars who influenced her. Of course, Travis is among them.
"Thank you for the nod, Stella! I've always thought you could stand toe to toe with the very best in Nashville," Travis wrote in the comments section. "Keep believing ... face to the sunshine and shadows fall behind you!"
Could you imagine having Randy Travis tell you he's a fan of your work? Perhaps that's why Lefty responded in a similar way to what many of us would have.
"I love Randy Travis!!!!!," Lefty wrote as her reply.
Lefty's admiration for Travis is no secret. She regularly covers his hit "Forever and Ever, Amen" during her live shows. However, having Travis share words of encouragement must have been a surreal moment.
Stella Lefty Has Been Dealing With a Lot of Controversy
Earlier this year, Lefty released her debut album Long Way Home. Unfortunately for the TikTok star, the reception to that album wasn't what she was expecting, as fans pointed out similarities between her music and that of established stars.
Lefty's "Why Wouldn't We" was likened to "I'll Name The Dogs" by Blake Shelton, and "Misery" also had some similarities with "A Million Dreams" from The Greatest Showman. At least, that's what fans are saying.
Unfortunately, with each song fans picked apart, more would jump on the bandwagon. Such is the nature of an internet pile-on.
Lefty has done a good job of allowing the backlash to fizzle out without responding and adding fuel to the fire. Still, sitting by and saying nothing can't have been easy. Nevertheless, all that controversy likely faded away the moment she read Travis' comment.
After all, you don't get many cooler moments than having Randy Travis telling you he's a fan.
