Randy Rogers Band’s ‘San Antone’ Video Spotlights Alamo City

The Randy Rogers Band are about to give you a highlight reel of some of San Antonio’s favorite locations.

The video for their new song “San Antone” spotlights a number of iconic spots in the Alamo City, including Hotel Emma, restaurant Mi Tierra the Riverwalk and more.

“This video reflects our personality as a band and the city’s importance to us” Rogers said in a statement. “We stopped at some of our favorite spots in town. Some of our best nights have been spent in San Antonio, Viva San Antone!””

If you want a great night in San Antonio, you’d be wise to check out these spots too, especially Mi Tierra, if you want delicious Mexican food.

Written by songwriter Keith Gattis, “San Antone” is one of the strongest straight-ahead country tracks on Nothing Shines Like Neon. It’s a shuffle that prominently features a fiddle, and unless you pulled out a squeezebox, that’s about as fitting a style for a country tune about San Antonio as you can get.

The Randy Rogers Band are no strangers to San Antonio. You can catch them at Floore’s Country Store in Helotes on July 14.

Randy Rogers recently released a live duets album with fellow Texas stalwart Wade Bowen. Watch This features songs from Rogers and Bowen’s respective careers and music from their 2015 duets album Hold My Beer and Watch This, Vol. 1.
