Pumpkin Hot Chocolate
The nights are getting colder, making it the perfect time of the year to enjoy our Pumpkin Hot Chocolate. Top with with some whipped cream.
- 2 cup milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 6 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup canned pumpkin purée
- 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the milk and heavy cream and heat until bubbling. Reduce the heat to low and add in the chocolate and cocoa powder. Whisk until fully melted and smooth.
- Add in the sugar, canned pumpkin, pumpkin spice, and vanilla extract and whisk until smooth. Remove from heat and pour into mugs. Serve.
Top with a bit of whipped cream if desired. Add a pinch of salt into the drink to edge the sweetness.
