In the spirit of Halloween, Pringles is offering one fan a custom urn shaped like its iconic chip can. Plus 200 years' worth of free Pringles.

Pringles newly-launched "Once You Drop" campaign will gift 200 years of free chips to a fan who promises to make the Pringles can-themed urn their final resting place.

The "afterlifetime" supply of chips spanning two centuries can be legally bequeathed to the winner's future heirs.

"Pringles has always been about the joy of the unexpected and this campaign takes our 'Once You Drop' campaign tagline literally. The pop don't stop, not even once fans 'drop,'" said Mauricio Jenkins, Salty Snacks Brand & Content Lead at Mars Snacking North America.

"Leaning into Halloween's dark humor and Gen Z's taste for absurdist storytelling, we're putting Pringles on the salty side of Halloween. [We're] rewarding the ultimate fan in the most lasting way possible. By making the Pringles can part of their legacy."

Pringles "Once You Drop" Campaign Details

The Pringles "Once You Drop" sweepstakes is open to legal US and Washington, DC residents aged 18 and older on Pringles.com through October 22 at 11:59 PM ET. The winner will be notified around October 31.

Beginning October 13 at 9 AM ET, fans can visit the Pringles website. The morbid contract requires signing a digital "will and taste-ament" pledging to be buried in a Pringles can.

Those who participate will be entered into a drawing for the metal urn and the "afterlife" supply of chips.

Pringles is not the only food supplier with a Halloween giveaway.

Subway launched the "Lunchtime Horrors" campaign on Oct. 12. The new campaign allows eligible customers to share stories of undesirable meals they've had in exchange for a $15 Subway gift card.

The promotion is a continuation of the recent Feed Your SUBconscious marketing campaign.

Jeff Klein, Subway's chief marketing officer, said in a statement, "We make sandwiches, not time machines. But we can give people something to look forward to at their next lunch. Feed Your SUBconscious is an invitation to listen to that inner voice that knows what you really want. This Halloween, we're giving Americans a chance to act on it. With thousands of freshly prepared Footlongs on us."

The Halloween giveaway follows a Subway-commissioned survey that found that 66 percent of Americans have experienced lunch regret.
