President Donald J Trump appears to have a Kobe Bryant story.

The recollection first became public in 2020, as part of Jeff Pearlman's book: Three-Ring Circus: Kobe, Shaq, Phil, and the Crazy Years of the Lakers Dynasty. The story details how President Trump helped break up a fight between Jayson Williams and the Black Mamba. The altercation reportedly took place in an elevator inside of Grand Hyatt in New York.
Trump owned that hotel.
During a recent interview with Jake Paul, which aired on YouTube, President Trump was asked about the altercation and his role in splitting it up.
"That was a long time ago. Yeah, well I was breaking up a fight, which sometimes is more dangerous than being in a fight," Trump said. "But I like Kobe. Kobe was having a hard time with somebody, and it worked out fine. But yeah, I broke it up, probably not a smart thing to do. Historically, it's never good to break up fights."
Interestingly, nobody has ever revealed who was getting the upper hand in the fight. However, with Bryant being in his second NBA season and therefore still incredibly young (he joined the NBA straight out of high school), it's fair to assume Williams had the physical advantage.
President Donald Trump Predicts Jake Paul Will Enter Politics
Later in President Trump's interview with Paul, he made a prediction that will likely send a shudder down the spine of millennials everywhere... He predicted that Paul would eventually segue from professional boxing into politics.
"I'm going to make a prediction that you will be, in the not too distant future, running for political office," Trump predicted. "And you have my complete and total endorsement."
Neither Jake nor Logan Paul is a popular figure among elder millennials. The two brothers are seen as negative influences on the state of combat sports. However, they both have huge followings online and an army of fans.
If either brother decided to hit the political trail, it's not too hard to envision them garnering enough support to potentially find themselves in office. Whether that would be enough to one day put them on the presidential trail is another thing entirely. In truth, it's a question we may not want the answer to.
