When President Donald Trump said he wanted to help young people in this country, we're not sure this next story is what he had in mind.

During a speech in Nevada yesterday, the world leader helped keep a toddler from falling off the stage.
President Donald Trump Brought a Family on Stage
As reported by the New York Post, the incident took place at the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa in Las Vegas. President Trump asked a young couple to come on stage to share how they benefited from some of his policies.
In addition to the administration's Trump accounts for kids, the no-tax-on-tips or overtime policies have helped the couple, whose names were Sandra and Brad, and their two young kids. Sandra is a waitress in a Las Vegas casino. Brad is an officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
At one point in the speech, President Trump said the couple was saving "thousands of dollars" from taking advantage of the tax policies in the One Big Beautiful Bill, which was signed into law last year.
President Trump even offered to hold on to one of the kids while Sandra spoke. But as she approached the podium, one of the toddlers ran to the end of the stage.
He Then Made a Crack About Former President Joe Biden
The president noticed that the toddler was making his escape. He took a few steps to reach him. Then President Trump led him back to his family at the end of the stage.
It was a funny moment, but the real laughter came after President Trump made a joke at the expense of his predecessor.
"I don't want him to be Biden and fall off the stage," he said. The quip was a reference to the on-stage fall taken by former President Joe Biden at the US Air Force Academy graduation ceremony in 2023.
When Sandra finished her speech, she picked up her wily young son. She then told President Trump that he wanted "to say a little something to you."
"Thank you for my Trump Account," the toddler said into the microphone.
"Good job," President Trump replied.
