A California pregnant 16-year-old named Kaylie Corona reportedly confronted 19-year-old Isaac Blackhorse Garcia for allegedly sexually abusing her 15-year-old sister. As a result, Garcia allegedly ran over Corona and then decided to flee the scene. Corona suffered severe injuries, and while she was transported to a local hospital, she succumbed to them shortly after. Her unborn child was delivered by medical staff and is currently in critical condition.

According to a Riverside Police Department
statement, Garcia dropped off Corona's sister at her home. At that time, the whole family got out of the house and approached his vehicle. Among them was Kaylie Corona, who confronted Garcia over his alleged sexual relationship with her underaged sister. It was then that Garcia decided to take off, striking Garcia with his car.Neighbor Miriam Betamen and her boyfriend witnessed the car speeding away from the neighborhood. When she approached the Corona family, Betamen was horrified. "We saw a girl that was right on the street, just laying flat," she told abc7. Corona's family asked Betamen to call 911.
Heartbroken Community
Police investigators arrived at the scene and determined that Garcia "had been in a sexual relationship with the victim's teenage sister." Corona was rushed to the hospital but she succumbed to her injuries. However, medical staff members managed to save the unborn baby. However, according to Ryan Railsback, Riverside Police Department Public Information Officer, the baby is in critical condition.
"I was just praying that she would be OK and then when I found out she passed away, it was just so devastating," Betamen added.
Corona's tragic passing has left the neighbors heartbroken. Christopher Garrett, one of her neighbors, also talked to abc7.
"We would see her walking through the neighborhood getting some exercise," Garrett said. "Her and her sister and they were like laughing. We just saw them that previous day before the tragedy"
Police arrested Isaac Blackhorse Garcia and charged him with murder, hit-and-run resulting in death, and unlawful sex with a minor. They also believe Garcia contacted and sexually abused other minors are are currently asking for any information regarding the murder or for Garcia's alleged victims to come forward.
