Few photographers have been able to capture the grace and beauty of horses like Wiebke Haas. Her stunning photos have earned her a huge following online, and for good reason. Each picture displays a moment perfectly captured in time, whether it's a herd of ponies jumping through a meadow or a close-up portrait that shows the unique character of each animal.
The self-described "horse girl" told BoredPanda that it all began when she decided to pursue her two passions after graduating college. Instead of slaving away in an office, Haas spent years perfecting her photography skills before diving into the world of horse photography. The 24-year-old has since had her images published in numerous books and magazines and has been featured in galleries across the globe.
Capturing such detailed images requires a lot of patience and understanding. "Sometimes it takes two or three days until I get the picture I had in mind," Haas says. "Horses don't use our language to communicate so you have to find a way to tell a horse what you want it to do for you."
After the shot is taken, it can take up to 20 hours more hours to develop the photo into its final product.
