Texas Country Superstar to Headline Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Halftime Show

Post Malone will take part in the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving show, along with Jack White while Eminem will act as executive producer.

Post Malone is used to accomplishing his dreams. He has become a worldwide megastar in recent years, producing multiple hits and headlining numerous shows. Yet, even he will probably be shocked at the latest development in his career arc, as he gets to live out every Texan's dream of headlining the Dallas Cowboys' Thanksgiving halftime show.

The "Sunflower" singer was announced as the halftime act on Sunday, Nov. 16, which gives him less than two weeks to be fully prepared for the event.

"I'm from Texas. I grew up a Cowboys fan and have been watching this halftime show for years," Malone said of the news. "It's a real honor to be part of the Red Kettle Kickoff with The Salvation Army and the Dallas Cowboys and help bring hope to so many people."

The halftime show will act as the launch of The Salvation Army's "Red Kettle Campaign." The campaign will focus on helping those less fortunate during the Christmas period, aiming to spread joy and generosity. The Cowboys franchise has worked with The Salvation Army for almost 30 years.

Eminem Will Operate as an Executive Producer of the Halftime Show

Post Malone won't be the only star at the event. Here's a tightened version with shorter sentences, same tone and feel:

Jack White has been selected as the Detroit Lions' headliner. Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers, and his manager, Paul Rosenberg, will serve as executive producers.

"We're thrilled to be working with Marshall and Paul, who are two of the most accomplished and respected names in the music industry, not to mention longtime Lions fans," Detroit Lions President and CEO Rod Wood said, via the Independent. "Their reputation in the business will attract top-tier talent and help us solidify this annual performance as one of the most anticipated cultural moments on the NFL calendar."

With so many star names involved, and some elite producers, including Jesse Collins Entertainment, the Thanksgiving halftime show is expected to be a major hit with NFL fans around the world. Even so, Malone will likely draw the biggest crowd. He's expected to leave a lasting impression. After all, he's a genuine superstar and a homegrown Cowboys fan.

He's living out a dream.
