Post Malone Proves He's The Ultimate Diner With Big Pizza Hut Tip

Everyone should, at some point in life, hold down a job that makes them mop. It's humbling and gives a real understanding of how everything around you works. Post Malone proves he doesn't forget his Chicken Express roots by leaving a massive tip to his hardworking Pizza Hut server.

Despite shedding the pounds with a strict chicken and rice diet, it doesn't mean the rapper is signed off pizza for life. While touring through Utah, Post Malone decided to pay a visit to the Cottonwood Heights Pizza Hut.

Staff said that, at 9.30 AM he came to their door, asking if they were ready to serve yet. Sadly, the shop hadn't officially opened. But, for Mr Malone, the staff were willing to fire up the ovens and open up the Pizza Hut early.

Staff said he was super grateful and took pictures with all the staff as a thank you. He put in a serious order, possibly getting the snacks in for the whole crew. He ordered three medium cheese pizzas, one extra large cheese pizza, 24 boneless wings, and a large cheesesteak.

The Pizza Is On The Hut For Post Malone

When it came to pay, the manager insisted that the Pizza Hut order was on the house for Post Malone. But, of course, the singer couldn't let them get away with that. He covered the cost of his big order and gave them a little something extra to go home with.

On top of the Pizza Hut bill, Post Malone tipped $1,200 to the hard-working staff. That kind of money, while probably not much to him, will cover bills or food for the week for many of the staff. It's a gesture that many could afford, but few often do.

Post Malone doesn't come from money, and he understands the grind of the everyman. This isn't the first time he's handed out the cash either. At Christmas, he tipped a hardworking barmaid, away from her daughter for the night, $20,000.

Humanitarian gestures like this are what separate artists like Post Malone from the rest. He's not forgotten his roots. He still remembers the smell of mop water.
