Earlier this week, Posty kicked off his "Big Ass Stadium Tour," albeit a month later than originally planned. During the opening night, Post Malone told fans in Charlotte, North Carolina, that his new album, which is a two-album project called "The Eternal Buzz" is 99% finished.

"I understand it's been a minute since new music," Post Malone told the crowd. "This new record is 99% f*****g done, and I can't wait for everybody to f*****g listen to it very soon."

Of course, Post Malone didn't stop there. As the fans were cheering the news of an impending album drop, he praised the crowd for filling up the stadium to see him perform.

"You know, it's been a whole bit, I suppose, but this looks like a f*****g stadium full of beautiful people, and I can't say thank you enough, ladies and gentlemen," he said.

Interestingly, there have been rumors that Post Malone's tour has been struggling to sell tickets. Yet, judging by the crowd in attendance, Charlotte was not one of the stops that had encountered issues. The place was rammed.

Post Malone Previously Detailed Why He Postponed His Tour

When Post Malone made the decision to cancel the first month of his tour, he shared his reasoning during on Instagram.

"Looking at the upcoming schedule after Stagecoach, I came to the realization that what we're trying to do, and what's possible, isn't really lining up," Malone wrote, via Rolling Stone. "The truth is, I promised y'all beautiful people new music. And I don't have the time to finish it before tour starts. We ain't ready for tour just yet. So I'm making the decision to push the tour back about 3 weeks to get this music done."

Malone's Instagram post then continued. "That being said, I'm so sorry to the folks who were planning on coming to the few canceled shows. I was looking forward to going nuts with y'all. That THAT being said, we been making some badass shit for this double album. ...And I can't wait to perform for y'all again."

If we're being honest, we probably expected his new music to already be out in the world. However, knowing that it's on its way is enough to keep us waiting patiently. Hopefully, that final 1% doesn't take too much longer to complete.

After all, the project could be what supercharges the ticket sales for this tour.
