A popular rock band was recently at the center of a tragedy. They chose to cancel a concert after a death occurred. The rock band Squeeze canceled last Thursday's concert. They were due to perform in Vienna, Virginia.

However, a tour bus unexpectedly crushed and killed a venue worker at the establishment. Reports suggest that the man was working under the tour bus. He was working in the parking lot at Wolf Trap. That's when things turned to tragedy.
According to eyewitnesses, the tour bus gave way and fell on top of the worker, crushing him to death. Following the death of the man, the rock band released a statement. They said that they couldn't possibly perform given the air of tragedy around the show and the venue.
Instead, they're working to reschedule the show and also refund people. It's understandable that they would back out of the gig.
Rock Band Cancels Show
"Squeeze are deeply saddened and shocked by an incident that occurred at the venue earlier today, which resulted in the loss of a life," the band said in a statement. "After discussions with the venue and the relevant authorities, the decision was made to cancel this evening's performance. We will work with the promoter and venue the possibility of rescheduling the show and will communicate further information to ticket holders as soon as it is available. Our thoughts remain with everyone affected by this tragic event."
Meanwhile, Wolf Trap also paid tribute to the worker. The venue explained that it wanted to respect the family of the victim by canceling the show.
"There was an accident involving a member of the community at Wolf Trap National Park today, tragically resulting in a loss of life," the statement read. "Out of respect, tonight's show has been canceled."
The rock band returned to performing on Friday. They performed at a different venue.
"This has been an extremely difficult and upsetting time for everyone involved, and our thoughts remain firmly with the family of the individual, and all those affected by this terrible loss,"
the band wrote on Facebook.
