A popular Outlaw country artist has died after a cancer battle. Musician Levi Herman has tragically passed away.

His fellow artists, Dallas Moore and Zac Kellum, took to social media to confirm the tragic news. Moore and Kellum revealed that the Outlaw country artist has died.
Both shared separate tributes to the singer.

Moore wrote on Facebook. "Godspeed Old Friend. Live forever..."So far, a cause of death wasn't revealed for the artist. But for some time now, Herman had been battling cancer. Last October, Herman shared good news regarding his cancer battle.
"So I had my ct scan today and things are looking pretty good,"
Herman wrote. "The tumor load is officially gone for now and I just have the lesions on my liver to deal with now. Looks like my organs are getting back into place and my intestines are getting back into shape. My appetite is better than it has been in a long time and I am starting to feel like myself again."Outlaw Country Artist Dies
He had previously expressed interest in getting back on stage and performing again. Following his passing, several musicians shared tributes to the Outlaw country artist.
"Heard through the grapevine that my friend and brother Levi Herman has passed away after a long battle with cancer," musician Peter Mucott wrote on Facebook. "Levi was a cool cat and we did a bunch of shows here in Tennessee. We would talk on the phone a lot when he was on the road; he was out there playing anywhere, anytime for years. We exchanged some texts a couple weeks ago about getting together again. Gonna miss him. Rest easy my brother."
"We lost a genuinely good soul in our friend Levi Herman," musician Brandi Colt wrote on Facebook. "Levi was the kind of person who stood firmly for what he believed and for the people he believed in. If he told you he was going to do something, you could trust that he meant it. That kind of genuine character is rare. We had a couple of fun runs Stumpy Joe and Farney a while back, and we had talked about trying to do another one. Like life sometimes does, time got away from us and it kept getting pushed to the back burner. I sure wish we'd gotten the chance.
"Levi will be deeply missed and remembered by so many of us," she also added. "He left his mark on the people who knew him, and that matters. He also left us some music. A few years ago, Andrew had the privilege of recording some of his music, and we'd love for you to honor our friend by giving it a listen and streaming his songs. Rest easy, Levi. We'll remember you."
