Doja Cat has been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD). The pop star discussed her diagnosis in a recent TikTok video.

"I've learned from a very young age to pretend that I like stuff, to pretend that I'm happy, to pretend that I don't like stuff that I do, to appear like everything is okay," Doja Cat said in the video. "...It caught up with me, and I think it always does for people. I'm now struggling with BPD. I don't know how long I've been, I mean, probably forever. It's an agonizing condition. Curable. Thank God."
As the video continued, Doja Cat revealed that she's been attending therapy for multiple years and has experienced a positive outcome so far.
"I've been in therapy for years now. And I am so relieved and so proud of myself. I've made it so far," she said. "I still make mistakes. But it is like an eight-year process of curing. Of treatment and healing in order to cure it."
BPD is widely considered to be a serious mental health condition. Fortunately, Doja Cat is already on the right path in terms of recovery and will likely continue to improve her symptoms as time goes by.

Following her TikTok announcement, Doja Cat's fanbase shared an outpouring of love and support in the comments. However, some sections of the comments section were quick to point out that BPD is treatable, but not curable in the typical sense of the word.
