Popular Influencer Dies After Undergoing Penis-Enlargement Surgery

The influencer had complained of chest pains following the procedure, and passed out before being rushed to hospital. He was 43.

An influencer has died following penis-enlargement surgery. Igho "Tiny" Ubiribo was just 43 years old.

According to AOL, Ubiribo had the cosmetic procedure performed on him in Thailand. He was on a luxury vacation with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, at the time.

The influencer had 40 ml of hyaluronic acid as well as lidocaine injected as part of the enlargement procedure. An inquest into his death in the Inner West Coroners' Court established that the procedure occurred. However, the name of the clinic was not revealed as part of the proceedings.

Following the procedure, he and his wife had gone to a massage parlor at their hotel, the Marriott in Bangkok. There, he had complained of chest pain before passing out twice.

He was then taken to Sukhumvit Hospital via ambulance, where he informed doctors of the procedure. He was subsequently moved into intensive care after doctors thought he had suffered a pulmonary embolism.

A pulmonary embolism refers to a clot blocking a blood vessel in the lungs. However, a postmortem performed in the UK on the British-Nigerian influencer revealed hyaluronic acid in his lungs.

Dr. Thongchai Chansirirattingkul, from Sukhumvit Hospital, explained, "He had had two cases of syncope (fainting) earlier, when he was having a massage. He had had 40 milliliters of penile filler injections earlier that day."

The Influencer Was Known for His Lavish Lifestyle

Ubiribo was known for his lavish lifestyle, having posted about it on his social media pages. He had over 100,000 followers on Instagram at the time of his death.

The influencer owned a $1.1 million house in Los Angeles, as well as a $600,000 apartment in London.

His lavish lifestyle was also extended to his funeral, where he was buried in a gold coffin. His funeral was attended by Nigerian afrobeat star Davido as well as other Nigerian celebrities.

At the funeral, Davido reportedly said, "I won't lie, it is not easy when someone like Tiny leaves. His absence is heavy, it doesn't feel real. A man of so much energy, so much presence - the silence is heavy. He is not someone I ever thought I would be speaking about in the past tense."

May he rest in peace.
