A popular influencer has been charged after allegedly shooting an alligator live on stream. Clavicular, known for being a part of the "manosphere" community, originally fired shots in the Florida Everglades on March 26, according to the New York Post.
20-year-old Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Peters, alongside two members of his streaming troupe, recorded themselves firing over two dozen shots. They were firing at what appeared to be a dead alligator.
On April 29, he was charged with unlawfully discharging a firearm in a public place or residential property. Although the charges didn't make any references to the alligator, people have still criticized him for his actions.
He wasn't the only one arrested - members of his streaming troupe were also charged. 22-year-old "Cuban Tarzan", whose real name is Andrew Morales, as well as 26-year-old "Baby Alien", Yabdiel Annibal Cotto Torres, were also slammed with the same charges.
Following the incident, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission took drastic action. Because of the status of alligators, they immediately launched a probe into the livestream clip. You aren't allowed to kill or otherwise attempt to harm an alligator in Florida without first being authorized by the commission.

Clavicular's Attorneys Said He Did Nothing Wrong
Clavicular's attorneys defended the group's actions. Steven Kramer and Jeffrey Neiman said that the influencers "relied on the guidance" of the tour guide at the time.
They added that "No animals or people were harmed. We are confident that once the full picture is understood, people will see this for what it is."
This misdemeanor charge isn't the first Clavicular is facing at the moment. He's already facing two charges in connection with a viral catfight. These are misdemeanor battery, and criminal conspiracy to commit battery. He's also being sued by an 18-year-old influencer, who has accused him of battery and sexual assault.
According to USA Today Entertainment, the viral catfight involved his girlfriend, Violet, and an influencer, Jenny Popach. Clavicular was arrested because he apparently encouraged the fight to happen.
While we're glad the alligator was apparently dead during the incident, it was still pretty shocking to see.
