Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard made the announcement on June 4 after performing their hit "Round Here" at CMA Fest at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

Tyler Hubbard Says, "We Back, Baby!"

The return of Florida Georgia Line was epic. Before taking the stage, famed sports announcer Michael Buffer listed the duo's accomplishments. Then Kelley and Hubbard appeared on separate sides of the stadium and slowly made their way to the center of the stage, where they embraced.

"CMA Fest, it feels so good to be here with my brother," said Hubbard. "And listen, we got three things we want to say tonight: First of all, God is good. Second of all, life is short. And most importantly, your boys... we back, baby!"

The Return of Florida Georgia Line Has Been a Long Time Coming

Rumors of Kelley and Hubbard's reunion have been swirling since January. That's when Kelley hopped on the social media trend of sharing what makes them nostalgic, sharing on Instagram that he went on a hike with Hubbard.

Then, back in March, Kelley and Hubbard performed "You Make It Easy" as Florida Georgia Line on March 19. It was at an event honoring Jason Aldean, who performed the song in 2018.

A month later, Aldean predicted the band's return.

"I would assume there's probably going to be a record at some point, and I feel like they're kind of getting there," he said. "I feel like it's been, you know, a weird few years. They're kind of feeling it out and just sort of getting back together and kind of reconnecting a little bit, but I think they're too good to not do that."

The band called it quits in 2022. Hubbard explained last year why Florida Georgia Line broke up in the first place. Kelley wrote a song and, after pitching it to Kenny Chesney, decided to go solo and do it himself.

"I'm not willing to do Florida Georgia Line and then have a direct competitor that's my partner doing the same exact thing," Hubbard explained. "I also told him, 'I don't think I deserve 50% of you if I'm willing to give a hundred.'"

Now it looks like Kelley is ready to give Hubbard 100% again.
