As Page Six reports, performances featuring the prop comedian at the Luxor Hotel and Casino will resume on Oct. 19. Tickets are available on the hotel's website.

The 61-year-old Carrot Top, born Scott Christopher Thompson, has been playing Vegas since 2005. These will be his first shows since he was hospitalized on Sep. 18 after a reported attempt at his home to end his life.

The comedian allegedly took prescription medicine before being hospitalized. The Clark County Fire Department came to his home at around 4:20 pm. They received a call saying a man was "not alert."

Reports state that Carrot Top was hospitalized until Sep. 26 and has been recovering at home. He was seen on Oct. 4 attending church alone at St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Las Vegas, then with his mother the following Sunday.

The incident with Carrot Top came amid a lengthy legal battle with Brian Evans, a singer who once opened for him.

Last month, it was reported that Evans sent a video to Carrot Top's legal team in May 2024. Evans does not ask for money in the video. However, court filings and a police report accuse him of seeking money from the comedian. He allegedly threatened to make private, sexually explicit material involving the comedian public.

In the 90-second video, Evans boasts that he spent a dozen years fighting another legal battle.

"I know how to file, and I know how to respond, and I especially know how to promote," he said. "So this is all up to you, all of you. You're on the wrong side of this... But if this is the way you want it, this is the way it'll be."

A Lake Mary Police Department report filed on Sept. 3 reveals that Carrot Top's attorney, Ronnie Bitman, went to authorities accusing Evans of attempting to extort the comedian.

Bitman told police that Evans claimed to have a USB containing "sensitive contents of an explicit video about the client," according to the report. Bitman alleged that Evans wanted $500,000 and threatened to send the material to tabloids if Carrot Top did not pay.

The allegations against Evans have not resulted in any criminal charges or findings. Evans has denied attempting to extort Carrot Top. He said he never threatened to post a video in exchange for a settlement and that the purported footage had already been deleted as part of an earlier settlement.
