Everyone hates seagulls, and I mean everyone. What, you haven't had a fry stolen by a seagull, straight from your hands, or you haven't at least seen it happen?
But, this is no way to answer such a thieving act. A man has been arrested after he allegedly punched a seagull to death after it stole his pastry.
According to Dexerto, the chilling incident happened in St. Ives, Cornwall, which is in England. The seagull had apparently stolen the man's Cornish pasty, which is a local delicacy.
A boat tour guide, named Rosie Reynolds, explained that she witnessed the harrowing event unfold. She said that the man was walking with his wife and kids when the seagull "swooped down and stole his pasty."
And she got pretty detailed about what happened. "He just grabbed the seagull and had its head in his hand and punched it hard in the chest. It was sort of held in his arm so it couldn't escape."
She added that the bird went limp after "three or four punches". But it was still alive, and lay on the ground before it "went off to die."
The man received abuse in person from Reynolds and other bystanders, but he just called her a "cow" and told her to "f*** off".

The Man Was Later Identified Online After the Seagull Murder
Another bystander had a bit more of a proactive approach. Pauly Ford described what happened and posted a picture of the man on social media.
Internet sleuths then promptly got to work, and they identified the guy pretty quickly. He was named as Jonny Roberts from Bradford in Yorkshire, England.
Roberts had a social media presence of his own. In a wild turn of events, the very same day he murdered the seagull, he posted a picture of himself with the caption "Just appreciating time away with my family."
And now, Devon and Cornwall police are asking for help in locating Roberts. "Devon & Cornwall Police received a third-hand report about the incident which is said to have taken place on the seafront. Despite posts being widely shared online, the matter was not reported to us by anyone present on the scene," they wrote in a statement.
