Three Hotel Staff Involved In Liam Payne's Death

This happened at CasaSur Palermo Hotel, where authorities recently discovered CCTV footage right before Payne's death. It depicted three individuals helping carry the 31-year-old celebrity to his room after Payne was reportedly acting "erratic" in the hotel lobby.

The main suspect is Esteban Grassi, the chief receptionist, who was also the one to make a 911 call after noticing Payne's strange behavior. This footage raises suspicions of hotel staff and brings up the question of why they decided to put the star in his room instead of keeping an eye on him.

Judge Laura Bruniard is the one leading the probe against these individuals. The second person carrying Payne was Gilda Martin, head of security, according to Infobae, an Argentinian outlet.

We don't know much yet about the third individual who helped the singer to his room. All we know is that he's supposedly the hotel spa's masseur.

The first Zoom interrogation of the hotel employees will happen on December 17 and 19. There seems to be enough evidence for the judge to accuse them of wrongdoing, also according to Infobae. We don't know yet what kind of criminal charges these three suspects could face.

Liam Payne's Cause Of Death

After the three carried Payne to his room, it only took minutes before witnesses saw the singer fall 13 to 14 meters from his balcony. Emergency services pronounced him dead at the scene, as there was "no possibility of resuscitation."

The National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office No. 16 reported on Payne's positioning and injuries. They demonstrated how he "did not adopt a reflex posture to protect himself." They also believed that the celebrity was in "a state of semi or total unconsciousness."

Autopsy reports later showed that Payne suffered from "multiple traumas" and "internal and external hemorrhaging." His body also had traces of alcohol, an antidepressant prescription, and even cocaine. This could've explained the star's behavior workers witnessed in the hotel lobby.

Further information has sprung up since the horrible incident. Both his music label and agent reportedly dropped Payne before his death. Also, an interview posted two days before his fall had his ex-fiance Maya Henry mentioning some of Payne's manipulative behavior. She claimed that Payne would tell her that he was going to die if they broke up.
