"He had this guy, like, really, really tormenting him lately and cyberbullying [him]," Rene said in a recent Instagram video. "Darrell has been posting a lot about the guy that's been cyberbullying him and tormenting him, and I really hope [law enforcement] look into that guy and it's just not a pass."

According to Sergeant Kyle Ridgway, a pubic information officer for the Lake Havasu City Police Department, the police are aware of the allegations of cyberbullying.

"We are aware of these cyberbullying accusations and that is a part of the active investigation," Ridgway said, via Page Six.

During his Instagram video, Rene was keen to stress that watching someone on television doesn't mean you know them personally.

"Guys, just because you watch us on television, doesn't mean you know us," Rene said. "It doesn't mean you know what we're about. Also, it doesn't entitle you to bully somebody. That's not [just] us, that's anybody. That's any athlete. You shouldn't cyberbully at all."

Rene Nezhoda Issued a Heartfelt Tribute to Darrell Sheets

Earlier in Rene's video, before he began touching on the subject of cyberbullying, he shared a touching tribute to his late co-star.

"This was not an easy video to shoot. Unfortunately, Darrell Sheets took his own life. So he passed away," Rene began. "I know a lot of you guys think we hated each other because we competed a lot on the show. And you know, we had our moments. We had our run-ins because we were both competitors, right? We were both competitors with the biggest threat out there."

He then continued by reminding everyone that their on-screen rivalry wasn't how their real-life relationship played out.

"So deep down me and Darrell were friends, we talked every now and then," he explained. "He was a very hard worker that cared more than anyone I've ever met about their family, about his son, about Zoe [his granddaughter], pretty much [all the] people in his life."

No further information regarding the investigation into cyberbullying claims has been released. We will ultimately know more once the police provide an update.
