Tragedy strikes for dozens of families in South Korea. Recently, USA Today reports the deadliest plane crash in the country's history, with 179 people dying on the flight. Only two people survive this incident according to acting President Choi Sang-mok. The deaths range from 3 years old to 78.

The flight was coming in from Bangkok, Thailand before touching down. However, the investigation so far explains that the landing gear from the plane never deployed. Instead, it veers and skids off the runway into a wall at Muan International Airport. Beforehand, the control tower issues a warning beforehand but the pilots had already been coming down.

To make matters worse, authorities are currently having problems identifying the bodies. Afterwards, local fire chief Lee Jeong-hyeon explains the tragic predicament. "After the plane collided with the wall, passengers were thrown out of the aircraft. The chances of survival (were) extremely low," he says. "The aircraft has almost completely been destroyed, and it is difficult to identify the deceased. We are in the process of recovering the remains, which will take time."
Only two people survive this horrifying plane crash. The first is 33 year old Lee, one of the flight attendants onboard, receiving treatment for various fractures in his spine. There is concern of potential paralysis but he is cognizant and responsive with no signs of memory loss. The other survivor's name is 25 year old Koo, another flight attendant who suffers injuries to her ankle and head.
The CEO of Jeju Air immediately takes responsibility for the plane crash, 'regardless of the cause.' As for the aircraft manufacturer Boeing, they respond with a neutral statement of condolences. "We are in contact with Jeju Air regarding flight 2216 and stand ready to support them. We extend our deepest condolences to the families who lost loved ones, and our thoughts remain with the passengers and crew," they write.
Who writes this stuff? They repeatedly say there were two passengers aboard. No, you say there were only two aboard---- the pilot and one passenger--- and both died in the crash. Learn some high school English.

How to make a sensational story out of a tragic but fairly common event, similar to: "Man killed in automobile accident in California." Save that headline, you'll need it tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, etc., etc.
Pilot error, 95% of small plane crashes. I am a pilot. I know.
