Just minutes after takeoff, the small plane was seen screaming down from the sky, instantly bursting into a huge fireball as it crashed into a factory in California. The small, four-seater plane had two passengers at the time. The pilot was a regular flier from the airport and had a hanger.

Before the plane crash, the pilot had called to the Fullerton Municipal Airport in Orange County, California. He had alerted them to a problem with his plane and requested an emergency landing. Therefore, he was planning to turn around and land.

He didn't say what the problem with the plane was, but it was clearly in distress. Footage of the plane crash over the factories of California shows how out of control he was. The plane appears to be sideways, and plummeting at an incredible rate. There is no sign of any lift in the small plane. It smashes into the buildings at a huge speed, immediately resulting in a massive explosion.

Emergency Services Rush To Site of California Plane Crash

The crash landing of the plane damaged the nearby factories as it careened into the roof of a populated building. The explosion collapsed a part of the roof and injured many of the workers inside. Emergency services rushed to the scene, and firefighters battled the inferno.

As a result, two were left dead, presumably from the plane itself, and 18 were injured. 10 of the injured people were taken to nearby area hospitals, but 8 were not in need of hospital care. Currently, the names of the two dead have not been released.

This tragedy in California comes right off the back of the incident involving a plane crash in South Korea that left 179 passengers dead. The horrific crash was due to the landing gear not deploying. As a result, the passenger plane slid off the end of the landing strip.
