Rockers! It's finally happening! After more than a decade away, Faith No More have confirmed that they're reuniting next year. The alternative rock pioneers will be getting back on the stage in 2027. The band made the announcement on their Instagram page.

The group will be joining Nu Metal heavyweights System Of A Down on a tour of New Zealand and Australia.
"It's been a minute," the caption reads. "Joining our friends @systemofadown as we take over stadiums Jan/Feb 2027."
This is the first time Faith No More will be back on stage since they performed two shows with the late Chuck Mosley, the group's original frontman. Those shows took place in August 2016. However, their last show with Mike Patton on the mic occurred a year earlier, as they toured with Sol Invictus back in 2015.
It's worth noting that Faith No More have previously tried to (quite literally) get the band back together.
"While Faith No More had planned to return to the stage in 2020, those dates were postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic," Rolling Stone reports. "While some were pushed to 2021, they were eventually canceled, with Patton citing "mental health reasons." As Patton later explained to Rolling Stone, he was diagnosed with agoraphobia, which led to other issues he declined to discuss."
Faith No More Still Have a Massive Audience
We've all heard the saying that absence makes the heart grow fonder. For Faith No More, that certainly appears to be the case.
Despite being away from the mainstream for over a decade, the group is still dominant on streaming platforms. According to Spotify, the band still draws over 3.2 million monthly listeners. "Epic" remains the group's top song on the platform, with over 275.6 million hits. "Easy" sits second with 234.8 million and "Midlife Crisis" is third with 93.3 million.
Faith No More fans will undoubtedly hope that this stadium tour is the start of a wider plan to get back on the road. After all, their fan base is global, and everyone would love the opportunity to see them live on stage once again.
