Now, he's speaking out about his detainment. Carlos Palazuelos, a delivery driver, is criticizing the police for how they treated him. Authorities detained the 36-year-old in connection with the ongoing disappearance of Today host Savannah Guthrie's mom.

The delivery driver, who doesn't follow the news, says he never heard of Nancy Guthrie or her daughter. "They held me against my will," Palazuelos

Authorities detained the delivery driver after following him and his wife in their car. Palazuelos said he pulled over, and that's when police detained him over the missing person's case. The delivery driver was confused as to why they suspected him.

"What the f-k am I doing here? I didn't do anything, to be honest, I'm innocent," he recalled.

Nancy Guthrie Missing Person's Case

The delivery driver had delivered packages in the Tucson area. But he was unsure if he ever delivered a package to Nancy Guthrie's house. "I told them, I work in Tucson for GLS, I might have delivered a package to her house, but I never kidnapped anybody," he told

Despite how authorities allegedly treated him, the delivery driver hopes that they do find the right suspect. "I hope they get the suspect, because I'm not it. And they better do their job and find the suspect that did it so they can clear my name, I'm done," he said.

The delivery driver also says authorities didn't reveal why they thought he might be connected. Currently, no charges have been filed against Palazuelos. While he was being questioned, authorities searched his home and questioned the family at their residence.

"They showed me a video to see if it was him, to see ... if I recognize the things he was wearing, he doesn't have any of that. He doesn't have anything that comes in the video," Carlos' mother-in-law told ABC15. "They went inside, busted the doors from my house, they went inside and took my son to the living room."
