Being in a stiflingly hot plane for any length of time can be very uncomfortable. For some people, it can even be hazardous to their health. That is unfortunately what some passengers on a Ryanair flight allegedly experienced recently. Per the New York Post, "Ryanair passengers allegedly passed out and vomited after being trapped for over an hour aboard a scorching airplane without air conditioning."

Here is the soppy scoop on what allegedly happened on Monday, August 10. .The plane was flight FR7268 headed to Birmingham in the United Kingdom from Malta. Takeoff was slated for 5:40 a.m. But that was reportedly pushed back because of a technical issue. Then the plane was delayed even more because a passenger allegedly became ill.
The Issues Allegedly Began on Buses
According to the Post, one woman who was supposedly affected said that passengers had to spend half an hour on a steamy hot bus without air conditioning on the way to the terminal. (A pic of her shows large perspiration stains on her clothing.) Then the passengers were loaded onto a different bus also allegedly with inadequate AC.
Per the Post, there was no relief when people got on the plane. In fact, it sounds like a sauna. For "over an hour," they reportedly sat and sweated profusely. Some supposedly doffed what articles of clothing they could. Some allegedly vomited. Others reportedly fainted from the intense, relentless heat.
One Passenger Shared a Video
This person posted a video on TikTok that depicts the melting mayhem. In the narrative written on the video, the poster wrote in part, "[P]eople were passing out, throwing up, crying, and having panic attacks...cabin crew were amazing and tried their best to help they are not to blame the company is!! ryanair is disgusting!"
Finally, the beleaguered plane took off, practically 90 sizzling minutes late. Therefore, at that point, the AC mercifully came on, according to the Post.
A Ryanair Rep Reportedly Made a Brief Comment
"Following an inspection of the aircraft by engineers, the aircraft was cleared to operate, and this flight departed Malta at 7:00 p.m. local,' said the Ryanair person.
It sure sounds like it was a miserable ordeal for those passengers!
