A few days ago, a mom on a plane caused huge delays when she refused to wear her seatbelt.

For whatever reason, the mother, flying with her child aboard a Batik Air flight from Vietnam to Malaysia, really didn't want to wear her seatbelt. Another passenger recorded the parts of the event, which shows the Vietnamese passenger throwing a tantrum.
Per The New York Post, the passenger caused an hour-long delay. She abused staff who were trying to calm her down, and eventually had to get escorted off the plane.
The first video shared shows a flight attendant trying to deal with the passenger. The argument must have been going on for a while, as the staff had lost her cool a smidge. The attendant ordered the unsafe flier to stop yelling at her. The passenger had a problem with the attendant pointing at her, which is a classic call card for entitled patrons.
The attendant tried to calmly reassure the passenger that the seatbelt "is for safety purposes."
"Not just for you, but also for your child."
I can't fathom why anyone would board a plane and expect not to wear a seatbelt the entire time. If it weren't a risk to other passengers, I'd say they should have just taken off and let her find out the hard way.
Seatbelt-Averse Passenger Finally Taken Off Flight
After the hour-long dispute over the seatbelt, security finally escorted the woman off the plane. Passengers cheered as she walked down the isles.
As the passenger and her child were taken off the plane, another passenger can be heard saying, "don't be like your mom, please," to the kid.
Bad flight experiences are becoming more common, which is a strange phenomenon. You'd think people would understand how flights work, and what is expected in this day and age.
Having a problem with seatbelts or not being able to deal with the claustrophobia are things you'd imagine fliers would anticipate. But instead all they do is put up a fuss and cause delays.
The comments under the videos are full of support for the passengers and attendants that had to deal with that for so long.
