The authorities are now investigating this incident that occurred at Travis Intermediate in North Texas on February 27. Fox 4 News reported that one parent put their son through medical testing due to them using the same needle.

Ashley Armstrong spoke with the outlet about how she had lectured her 11-year-old son about his tattoos. Her son Jordan came home with an arm tattoo saying "I heart my lord" and a hand tattoo reading "JC."

"He got punishment for it," Armstrong said. She noted how a kid his age should have known how dangerous this was. "He knows better. He shouldn't have done it in the first place." Since this horrifying incident, the district revealed that they suspended multiple teachers who were at fault.

Jordan's mother also noted that over a dozen other parents complained to the school about their tattooed children. Armstrong first found out about the ordeal when a school nurse phoned her, requesting that her son receive lab work immediately.

Jordan admitted to his mother that a boy approached him in class about the tattoo. Not only that, but the boy managed to give the tattoo while the teacher was in the same classroom.

Armstrong is mainly concerned about the scabs potentially scarring and how the "needle was shared several times." It wasn't only in one class but through multiple classes.

Fortunately, the test results for Jordan came back negative. The boy will return within the next week just to be sure for a follow-up test. This is just one good news though, and who knows if any other students have diseases from this.

Greenville ISD, the school's district, spoke up about the tattooing in a social media statement. "Teachers assigned to the classrooms where the incident allegedly occurred have been suspended pending the outcome of an investigation," it wrote.

"Their role in this matter will be reviewed to determine if further disciplinary action is warranted." It also revealed how the pupils "gave each other tattoos using temporary ink and the same needle."

We don't yet know the identities of these negligent teachers. Despite that, The Herald Banner reported that the district only suspended two teachers.
