The city of Birmingham, UK, is set to honor Ozzy Osbourne one year after his death. The first-ever "Ozzy Day" will be held on Wednesday, July 22, in the hometown of "The Prince of Darkness." The event will be a celebration of Ozzy's life and what he meant to the city.

It's expected that there will be live music, public art and multiple sightseeing events taking place. Bostin Brass, the brass band that performed at Osbourne's funeral, will also be present and playing music throughout the day.
"Ozzy Day is a fantastic example of Birmingham working together to celebrate the legendary Ozzy Osbourne," said Sam Watson, of Central BID Birmingham, told PEOPLE. "By bringing together businesses, cultural organizations and public spaces, we're creating a city center-wide experience that encourages people to celebrate the legacy of a truly global, Birmingham-born icon."
Cabinet Member for Culture, Deborah Harris, also provided a statement regarding "Ozzy Day."
"Ozzy Osbourne is one of Birmingham's foremost cultural figures, and we continue to honor his legacy here in the city, where his journey began," she said. "I am glad to see the city partners coming together to celebrate Ozzy's influence on music and his pride in his hometown."
