The Grounds Of Ozzy Osbourne's Beverly Hills Home Were Getting Visited By Coyotes
Around twenty years ago, the grounds of Ozzy's lavish abode were becoming a favorite stomping ground for coyotes. Sadly, his family had a little pet dog killed by the beasts. He and the other Osbournes tried the tactic of putting poisoned chicken out for the coyotes, but the ploy did not work. They had another small pooch named Pipi that they sought to protect, so a better solution had to be found fast.
Per the outlet, "When they struck a second time, Ozzy entered the ring with the gloves off, prepared to do anything to protect the pet."
Who Won The Battle Of Ozzy Osbourne Versus The Coyote
Ozzy was not about to be outwitted by a ravenous, pet-threatening critter in his yard. His wife, Sharon, said, "Ozzy heard the screams and fought and got Pip out of the coyote's mouth." Pipi was injured but thankfully did get restored to health. The dog was fortunate to have a courageous owner who stopped at nothing to protect it. And certainly risked himself in the process.
According to the outlet, "Perhaps this act of bravery towards animal protection was something he thought may serve as redemption for his past discrepancies...." You have to admire a guy who would go head-to-snout with a coyote. Especially to save his family's tiny dog. Now 76, the "Godfather of Heavy Metal" gets high marks for helping a dog in distress.
