One McDonald's Location's New Sauce Policy Is Driving Customers Crazy

McDonalds seems to be getting increasingly stingy in how they dole out their free sauces. In one location, diners only get one 'courtesy' sauce.

What's the best part of McDonald's? The Big Mac? A nice quarter pounder? Me personally, it just has to be the chicken nuggets. But I, along with many others, don't think they ever give us enough sauce. But, it seems that the company are getting much more stingy with their sauce allocations.

As reported by the Daily Mail, more and more locations are becoming a lot less generous with the amount of sauce packets they're willing to hand out to customers. Customers have took to social media to voice their complaints, after one location apparently started only handing out one singular "courtesy sauce".

Only one sauce! Compare that to another fast food chain like Taco Bell, as one customer did. They're a lot more generous. They tend to hand out the biggest handful of sauces they can.

One Reddit user complained about how the stinginess is even plaguing the McDonald's drive-thru now. "They don't even give you ketchup or napkins at the drive thru anymore... You have to ask for them when yu get your order, and they are still stingy in giving one packet and one napkin when the order was for five people," they wrote.

This Comes As McDonald's Is Getting More And More Expensive

But, this isn't the only thing McDonald's is getting backlash for. The general cost of their products is garnering lots of criticism online. Critics argue that it defeats the point of fast food dining in the first place. Something that historically has been cheap and quick has been eroded as costs increased, and McDonald's look to cut corners.

One of their freshest additions to the menu, the Big Arch burger, has been marketed as a more "premium" addition to the McDonald's menu. But, the "premium" price point attached to it can reach up to $10, depending on location.

As well as this, the newest menu item is the limited time K-Pop Demon Hunters HUNTR/X meal. For 10 chicken McNuggets, fries, and a drink, as well as their limited-time Hunter and Demon sauces, you'd think it wouldn't be too expensive, right? Well, it clocks in at $15!

We hope that people can get their well-earned sauces without having to pay out for them. And that McDonald's reverses this wild policy.
