What Happened to Bode Miller?

Miller was then released on a $5,000 cash bond. Four days after his arrest, the skier pleaded not guilty to both charges, according to court records.

Miller has won six Olympic medals throughout his career. He has also been decorated with 79 World Cup medals. The skier took home gold at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver, British Columbia. He also won a bronze at his final Olympic appearance in Sochi, Russia, in 2014.

Miller retired from skiing in October 2017.

What Has Miller Been Up to Since Retirement?

Although no longer skiing competitively, Miller has remained connected to the sport. He has stayed visible as an analyst for NBC Sports during its Olympic and World Cup coverage.

Miller was the initial investor in the nutrition brand Onnit, which was founded by his friend Aubrey Marcus. He has also been involved with several technology companies, including SKEO, a wearable ski tracking app, and Alpine-X, a developer of year-round indoor snowsports resorts.

Miller and his wife, Morgan, have six children. Their daughter, Emeline, tragically died at 19 months after drowning in a pool in 2018. Since then, the couple has worked to raise awareness of water safety.

"There's not a day that goes by that I don't pray for the opportunity to go back to that day and make it different," said Morgan at the time. "But now we have this opportunity to make other parents' days different."

"The reality is, as a parent, you can't dodge responsibility with your kids," added Bode. "That part is probably the single most difficult part to get over."
