See Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus Time Travel, Line Dance in New Video for 'Old Town Road'

Lil Nas X  and Billy Ray Cyrus go back to the future in the star-studded new video for viral hit "Old Town Road." The video, which features comedian and actor Chris Rock, opens in 1889, with Lil Nas X (fittingly) riding on a horse before he time travels to present day Marty McFly style.

The rapper trades in his 1800s clothes for some modern Nudie-suit style duds and cruises with Cyrus to crash a bingo game (at Old Town Hall) where they perform their smash hit and line dance with a room full of folks decked out in their best western wear.

"Old Town Road," which blends rap and country elements, gained massive popularity late last year on the social media app Tik Tok. The song went viral, racking up 23 million views on YouTube. In March, Billboard removed the song from its Hot Country Songs chart. In a statement to Rolling Stone, the publication defended its decision: "While 'Old Town Road' incorporates references to country and cowboy imagery, it does not embrace enough elements of today's country music to chart in its current version," the statement read.

The song is currently No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.

"Old Town Road" has been a huge topic of discussion in the country music community for the last two months. Country artists, from the Josh Abbott Band to Keith Urban, have covered the tune.

Cyrus and Lil Nas X performed the hit at the Stagecoach Festival in April.
