There's been quite the sweet rumor floating around regarding country star Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift's wedding. We know that the two are longtime friends, with Taylor even having penned a song entitled "Tim McGraw". So it's not that much of a stretch to think she'd have him up there singing for her at the wedding!
But, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce really wanted to prioritize secrecy for their special day - so we don't know much about the wedding. In fact, per Whiskey Riff, they even went out of their way to have all the wedding decor burned so people couldn't get their hands on them.
That means a lot of rumors. One of which was the Tim McGraw one. It was even reported by major outlets - they said that both Tim and Stevie Nicks were set to perform at their wedding.
But the country star shut that down in a recent interview, stating plainly, "I didn't perform at her wedding." He also made an equally hilarious yet wise statement about rumors in general, especially in the age of the Internet. "That was a rumor... surprise, the Internet's not always correct."

The Country Star Also Explained How They Go Way Back
The country star also explained how him and Taylor go way back in the interview, which was conducted by Esquire.
"Taylor's always been close to our family, our girls," he explained. "She's been to our house and hung out with our girls. And I mean, she's a special person and one of the most talented people I've ever met."
He was also keen to praise her songwriting abilities. "I think what I always go back to Taylor is, you know, she's the biggest artist in the world, but the reason for that is... There's a lot of reasons, but I think the core reason for that is she is a genius songwriter.
"I think that's the biggest thing I think that maybe gets overlooked sometimes with Taylor... She writes to connect with her audience."
Even if the country star didn't perform at their wedding, it's pretty safe to say that they're still fast friends!
