Josh Allen is lending support to Ed Oliver over the death of his 2-year-old son. The Buffalo Bills quarterback called out the media for how they broke the news about the young toddler's passing.

"First off, I want to say thank you to the ones who knew about it and allowed him to have his moment and his time. It's very sad how it came out. It makes me very, very sad and angry at the same time. Obviously, very unfortunate what happened. As a teammate of his and as someone in this locker room, all we can do is love on him," Allen said.
"There's nothing you can say to make the situation any better, except being there for him in whatever ways he needs. And that's what we're going to continue to do. That's what teammates do. We love upon each other and try to hold each other up when we're down," he continued.
"I can't imagine what he's going through. But the way he's dealt with it, it's been unbelievable," Allen added.

Allen is a father himself, so he understands and relates to the pain that Oliver is feeling.
"I couldn't imagine the strength that it takes to do that. And for him to be that strong for himself and his family. I can't speak enough about it. It's very hard to wrap your mind around a teammate going through a situation like that, because as you have kids, you understand what that could be like and what that could feel like. You never want to put yourself in that situation or those shoes," he said.
Oliver's son died back in June. Reportedly, he died in a swimming pool outside of a Texas home. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the toddler died. Tony Farmer broke the news about Oliver's son's passing last Friday.
Bills General Manager Brandon Beane shared a statement, "On behalf of the entire Buffalo Bills organization, we want to publicly express our condolences to Ed Oliver and his family on the devastating loss of his son. It's an unthinkable tragedy for any parent. We will continue to support Ed and his family as we all grieve this tragic loss."
