A report published by Rolling Stone detailed the allegations, with the reported lawsuit filed in New York City in April.
NFL Star Assault Allegations Expand With Multiple Accusers
Three of the individuals had previously filed lawsuits accusing Wiley of rape dating back to 1994 while he attended Columbia University.
The first lawsuit emerged in 2023, with two additional accusers filing claims in 2025.
In a 2024 court filing, Wiley's attorneys denied the allegations.
A year earlier, the former player publicly described the original lawsuit as "BS."
According to Rolling Stone, the lawsuit also accuses Columbia of concealing "the rapes by Wiley," alleging the university's actions allowed him to maintain "a reputation of safety, respect, and integrity, thereby endangering women."
"Two of the accusers reportedly allege Wiley sexually assaulted them from 1995-99 in California, another claims Wiley began 'grooming me' when she was 13 years old before a sexual encounter years later while he was in the NFL and the former ESPN production assistant alleged that Wiley tricked her into coming to his room under the pretense of a work meeting before sexually assaulting her," the New York Post's Matt Ehalt wrote.
Lawsuit Details Allegations Spanning Wiley's Football and Media Career
One accuser alleges Wiley began communicating with her while he played for the Buffalo Bills between 1997 and 1999.
She claims he gave her his email address, free tickets, and regularly bought her gifts.
According to the report, Wiley allegedly referred to her as "little momma" and invited her to his home in Orchard Park to help organize his CD collection.
She further alleges that Wiley flew her to Dallas in 2004 while he was playing for the Dallas Cowboys.
The lawsuit claims he later shouted at her before raping her.
The former ESPN production assistant alleges Wiley invited her to his hotel room in 2009 under the guise of discussing work matters.
According to the complaint, she entered the room expecting a professional meeting before the situation allegedly became sexual and non-consensual.
Wiley earned All-American honors at Columbia before the 1997 NFL Draft selected him in the second round.
He played in the NFL from 1997 to 2006 with the Bills, San Diego Chargers, Cowboys, and Jacksonville Jaguars before moving into sports broadcasting with ESPN and Fox Sports.
