Two New York cops allegedly failed to help someone stuck in a burning car after they crashed during a high-speed chase. The New York Post says that these Bronx cops chased down a stolen car in Manhattan on Wednesday, and the vehicle then crashed. As a fire erupted from the collision, they allegedly left the driver to die in the inferno.

Cops Allegedly Left Driver In Burning Car To Die After High-Speed Chase
The altercation gets even messier since the cops never reported the car crash to their supervisors. On top of that, they failed to admit they were ever involved in the car chase. Since the NYPD probed these cops in an investigation, they have since suspended them. A bystander also managed to take video footage of the deadly wreck.
It all started early that morning when the two officers spotted the male driver's 2025 Honda CRV. They deemed this car to be part of a stolen car ring and began their pursuit. Sources told the outlet that the cops chased the Honda southbound on the Henry Hudson Parkway into Inwood.
Soon after the high-speed chase, the driver crashed the Honda near the Dyckman Street exit around 5 AM. The flames erupted once the car collided with a building. Reports claim that the cops approached the burning Honda before driving away. They hadn't even attempted to save the driver from the deadly inferno, nor did they call an ambulance.
Once EMS finally arrived at the scene, they pronounced the driver dead. They weren't able to identify him since the fire burned his body entirely. After the car wreck, the officers came back to their Bronx precinct and continued with their shift as if nothing had happened. The duo failed to report that it ever happened.
A witness managed to take video footage of the incident, which was shared by the outlet. The video showed the decimated and charred vehicle while other officers appeared at the scene. You could hear the filmer at one point saying, "Oh my f-king God! Yo, who's that?" One of the cops at the scene told the cameraman to "back up" and that it was "a crime scene."
