Too often, we forget about the people who keep things stable in times of turmoil. But, in a show of thanks, the nurse who held it down during the Bourbon Street attack has been gifted Super Bowl tickets.

On the night of the fateful attack in New Orleans, Stevey Kells was working as the Clinical Nurse Supervisor. As the 26 victims of the attack poured through her door, she maintained order. Her quick actions and level head kept people alive, and the situation under control.
She expected nothing in return, of course. The emergency services are selfless and hard-working. But, she's being given a little something as thanks nonetheless. Ashley LTD, along with New Orleans Saints LB Demario Davis, delivered the nurse a pair of Super Bowl tickets.
The nurse plans to take her boyfriend along to the game. The tickets are not cheap either with even the nosebleed seats going for around $5000. She will now be able to take the night off and attend the biggest show in the USA.
New Orleans Nurse Needs A Super Bowl Celebration
Working as a nurse means being ready for anything at any time. They never know when disaster may strike, and having to work through the New Orleans Bourbon Street attacks must have been a huge effort. But, Stevey Kells, typical of emergency services, didn't break under pressure.
She was responsible for the movement of the huge influx of patients, triage, and coordination of care. Her efforts will have been instrumental in the aftermath of the Bourbon Street attacks. Now, the nurse will be front and center at the Super Bowl. Sure, the players may be heroes on the day, but she is the hero of the city.
The attack happened in the early hours of the morning during New Orleans celebrations. It came with no warning, and I am sure the hospital was already dealing with plenty of injured revelers. A total of 26 people were admitted to the hospital in a very short timeframe. She was able to remain professional and in control under immense pressure. Hopefully, the Super Bowl tickets will show some thanks to the hard-working Nurse.
