Good news, Yellowstone fans, the upcoming spinoff series, Marshalls, is bringing back an iconic location from the original smash hit. The second episode of the upcoming series will see Luke Grimes' character, Kayce Dutton, return to "the train station."

The title for episode two of Marshalls is "Zone of Death."
"As Kayce tries to embrace his new beginning, a Marshals op to stop a domestic terror attack lands him in a valley of buried Dutton family skeletons," reads the official description of the episode from CBS.
For those of you who aren't die-hard Yellowstone fans, the train station plays a large part in the series. It all began when Lloyd drove a ranch hand, who knew a little too much, into Wyoming. From there, the ranch hand, whose name was Fred, got pushed over a cliff.
From that point on, the Dutton family and its allies often use the same cliff to dispose of their foes' bodies. Later in the show, we learn that the same cliff has been a dumping ground for years.
Kayce has long tried to distance himself from his family's crimes. So, a return to "the train station" is just another reminder of whath is family is capable of. So, now that he's working with the U.S. Marshals, a return to the location would be far from ideal.
Luke Grimes Is Excited To Reprise His Role
When speaking with PEOPLE in 2025, Luke Grimes, who plays Kayce Dutton, expressed his excitement to reprise his role.
"On the last day of shooting, I thought it was my last day as Kayce. It was over to me," Grimes said. "It was seven years of playing a person that I'll never see again, except for having his hat and jacket in my closet, and it wasn't until probably three or four months after that that everything started aligning for the [spinoff]."
Grimes won't be the only familiar face on the show. Gil Birmingham is set to reprise his role as Thomas Rainwater. Mo Brings Plenty is also expected to feature in the series, after being present for all five seasons of Yellowstone.
Marshalls is set to debut on March 1, and will undoubtedly have some high expectations and big shoes to fill.
