Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford, passed away earlier this month from a suspected drug overdose.

Gerber was unresponsive on Sunday (September 20) on the floor of a bedroom at Resolutions Living. A luxury rehab center in Santa Monica. He had checked himself in just hours prior to his body being discovered.
New Details About Crawford's Son's Death Emerge
Now, new details have emerged about his death.
According to a Wednesday (September 23) report from TMZ, Presley was found in a bedroom inside the rehab facility.
Per the outlet, Gerber's body was "near the bed" when facility staff found him unresponsive Sunday. The report also notes that Crawford's son's body "was not on the bed," and that they "could not clarify the exact location" where he was found unresponsive.
Though it has been suspected that Gerber died from complications of an overdose, the outlet also reported that fentanyl is not suspected as the agent that caused him to go into cardiac arrest.
The report also adds that Preston had a 24/7 sober coach who "frequently traveled with him and provided around-the-clock support."
Gerber had a history of substance abuse and mental health issues. Back in 2023, he appeared on the Studio 22 podcast and opened up about his struggles. As well as his desire to help others who were in similar positions.
"[Mental health] is an issue. It is such a big part of my life. It's a 24/7 job, and there's so much to it. That's really what I want to do: help people, whether you're depressed or you're struggling with something that is hurting your body. I mean it could be anything, and there's no judgment," he said back in 2023.
"I've seen a lot of stuff, and I've learned a lot of things. What I hope I can do is have made the mistakes for some other people, so they don't have to make the same mistakes that I made."
The police do not believe that foul play was involved in his death.
