She Said Perez Hilton "Was Having a Meltdown"

As the Page Six reports, Barbara Lavandeira gave the dispatcher her brother's address in Miami and her own cell phone number. She then calmly told the operator from the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office that Hilton "was having a meltdown."

The audio revealed that the online personality was "suicidal" and "cutting himself" the week before. His sister said Hilton's condition at the time of the call was "all cut up."

"I can't tell from where, but he's covered in blood," she added.

Lavandeira then told the dispatcher that Hilton was "awake in the bathroom." She confirmed he was breathing. Lavandeira said she had stepped out of the house with her daughter and Hilton's three children. She added that she didn't think he would harm anyone else.

She also said during the call that Hilton had a "box cutter or a knife." However, she couldn't see what he was using to harm himself.

Hilton Is Currently In a Treatment Facility

Hilton was visited by his three children, Mario, 13, Mia, 11, and Mayte, 8, in a treatment facility last month. He was transferred there after spending several weeks in the hospital recovering.

"They were first able to spend time together through a few video calls, and since then, Perez has also been able to see his children and his mom a few times for short, supervised visits at the facility," a statement on Hilton's website read.

There were "definitely... a lot of emotions for everyone," but being able to spend that time together has been "incredibly meaningful and healing."

Hilton's family has "limited" communication with the 48-year-old personality and is "not able to talk to him daily."

"While that's hard for us and for him, we understand that right now the priority isn't constant communication with family, but rather giving him the time and space to focus on his care and continue making progress," the statement shared.

Hilton's mother was granted temporary custody of his kids after the incident. It is unknown when Hilton will return home.
