Country singer Ned LeDoux and family are grieving the loss of his 2-year-old daughter, Haven. According to a press statement, Haven died due to a tragic choking accident at the family home.
"Paramedics were called to the family's northeast Kansas home on October 20th and arrived quickly, but attempts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful," the statement reads. "The LeDoux family appreciates your love and support and requests privacy during this time."
Further details were not made available.
LeDoux is the son of late country music star and rodeo legend Chris LeDoux, who died of cancer in 2005 at the age of 56. Chris LeDoux was famously mentioned in Garth Brooks' song "Much to Young to Feel This Damn Old."
Ned LeDoux played drums in his father's band, Western Underground, as a teenager. He released his EP Forever a Cowboy in 2016 and a full-length album, Sagebrush, in 2017. The singer-songwriter also appears on Chase Rice's 2017 album Lambs & Lions for a duet of his father's song, "This Cowboy's Hat." LeDoux's album Next in Line is set for release in November.
Ned LeDoux, a native of Kaycee, Wyoming, has been married to his wife Morgan for 11 years.
